City BBQ Opens New Location Near Mall of Georgia

City BBQ is delighted to announce the grand opening of its newest location near the Mall of Georgia. This opening marks the seventh location in metro Atlanta, continuing the brand’s successful regional expansion. Located at 2828 Buford Drive, Buford, Ga. 30519, the Buford location serves the same award-winning, slow-smoked BBQ that fans have come to love.

Annica Conrad, Chief Brand Officer for City BBQ, based in Columbus, Ohio, expressed excitement about the new location. “The Atlanta market has warmly embraced our approach to BBQ, making it a fantastic region for our continued growth. Our new location at Mall of Georgia is perfectly positioned to meet the high demand from our loyal customers.”

Edie Weintraub from terra alma played a crucial role in this expansion and the Woodstock, Snellville and McDonough locations, handling site selection and working with Bob Kane from City BBQ’s development team.” Collaborating with City BBQ has been an absolute pleasure,” Weintraub expressed. “It’s incredibly fulfilling to celebrate not only the openings but also the thriving success of the new locations in Georgia!”

The Buford location will feature City BBQ’s signature menu items, including Texas-style brisket, St. Louis cut ribs and Carolina goldmine sandwiches. These BBQ flavors from around America pair well with house-made sides like corn pudding, macaroni and cheese and banana pudding.

Reflecting its commitment to convenience and service, the new venue will also include a drive-through, offering ‘slow food fast’—a perfect blend of quality and efficiency. Beyond the restaurant, City BBQ excels in off-premise catering, skillfully managing large-scale events and weddings, serving groups of up to 5,000 people with menus that include carving stations, s’mores bars and caramel apple bars.

Emphasizing convenience, City BBQ also offers a robust loyalty program through its app, allowing customers to enjoy benefits like $5 off their first order. Along with options for online ordering and curbside pickup, City BBQ ensures that high-quality BBQ is always easily accessible.

With plans for an eighth location in Acworth this October, City BBQ’s growth continues to be robust. “We plan to fill in Metro Atlanta, bringing our unique and elevated BBQ offerings to even more communities,” added Conrad.

City BBQ looks forward to becoming a staple in the Buford community. It invites everyone to experience its pitmasters’ craft, which involves smoking meats around the clock using local hickory. The new location promises to be a treat for BBQ enthusiasts and a popular community hub.
