Brunch at Home

Here are some ideas for a classic Mother's Day brunch that you can prepare at home. Pick and choose to pair the perfect combination of flavors to celebrate your mother.

Pancakes or Waffles: Start the day off with fluffy pancakes or crispy waffles and add toppings like whipped cream, fresh fruit, or chocolate chips for extra sweetness.

Scrambled Eggs: Scrambled eggs are easy to prepare and a classic brunch dish. Add some herbs, cheese or veggies to make them more festive and flavorful.

Fresh Fruit Salad: Slice up a variety of fresh fruits like strawberries, blueberries, kiwis, and mangoes for a colorful and healthy dish.

French Toast: French toast is another classic brunch dish that's easy to make. Dip bread in an egg mixture with cinnamon and milk, then cook it in a frying pan until it's golden brown. Serve it with real Maple syrup and powdered sugar with a side of fruit.

Mimosa or Bellini: A brunch wouldn't be complete without a refreshing drink. Mix up a classic Mimosa (orange juice and champagne) or a Bellini (peach puree and champagne) and toast mom.

Breakfast Casserole: A breakfast casserole is a great option if you want to serve something more substantial. Best of all, you can make it ahead of time and simply pop it in the oven on Mother’s Day 30 minutes or so before brunch.

Quiche: Quiche is another great brunch option. You can make it with a variety of fillings like spinach and feta, ham and cheese, or mushroom and onion. And you can make it in advance.

Coffee or Tea: Make sure to have plenty of coffee or tea on hand to serve with the meal.

Remember, whether you go out or stay in, the most important thing is to make sure that your mom feels loved and appreciated on her special day!
